Dr. Cocolis and his team fitted the implant structure into my upper jaw, noted minor areas for functional improvement, and made the necessary measurements to clearly communicate their intent to the laboratory. While the changes seem minor, the resulting changes will significantly enhance the performance and comfort of the implant.

I had an amazing experience at Dr. Cocolis’s office! From start to finish, they were professional, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Cocolis took the time to explain every step of the process in detail, making sure I understood what was happening and why it was necessary. It's clear they genuinely care about their patients' comfort and well-being. The office staff was friendly and welcoming, and the office itself was clean and modern. I felt at ease the whole time, which is not always easy for me at the dentist! I really appreciated how the dentist explained all the options available to me, without rushing me into any decisions. I had a very informative and productive consultation regarding some upcoming dental work. Dr. Cocolis presented very thorough options that he explained in easily understandable terms. And the visual aids were very helpful in understanding what was needed. And Casey helped with understanding the financial options for the treatment. I was quite pleased with the presentation and as always the dental care is the absolute best.

When our son experienced a dental emergency on a holiday weekend and we were left without support from our prior provider, Dr. Cocolis stepped in and delivered truly exceptional care. He treated our son with incredible skill, professionalism, and genuine compassion during what was a very traumatic event for us. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made our child feel completely safe and respected. He even followed up several times via phone and with in office visits and then with a personal note, saying our son was an "amazing guy" for how well he handled the trauma—that level of kindness and compassion is extremely rare and so appreciated. Five stars for Annie! As someone who frequently visited dental offices with staff who treated me like a number, I can't express how grateful I am to have Annie as my hygienist. She is incredibly gentle, thorough, and has a remarkable attention to detail. I left without any pain and, most important to me, she took the time to explain everything she was doing which completely eased my anxiety. Her professionalism and kindness made the entire process surprisingly enjoyable. I will revisit the office for sure!

Dr. Cocolis and his kind staff were very gracious to me. I came to get a second opinion on another dentist, whose office is quite a bit closer to my home for meeting my basic dental service needs. Dr. Cocolis demonstrated humility, respect and honor for the other dentist. He acknowledged the validity of her medical assessment, and conveyed no sense of competition as to which dentist I should work with, moving forward. When giving his own professional opinion, he offered a much more moderate opinion on what work needed to be done. He made it clear that I did not need to rush to get this work done. In this particular season of my life, it is truly important for me to wait on having any dental work done. Yet, I can comfortably do so through Dr. Cocolis’ professional advice – as he is the dentist that my dentist of almost 30 years (Dr. Marino) painstakingly searched for and found to be a replacement for him (due to retirement) for the continued care of his clients. As a result, I can trust Dr. Cocolis’ assessment & professional opinion, without a concern of compromising the integrity of previous years of dental expertise that had been needed in my particular situation 🙂 In other words, if you have a challenging oral need, his advanced training and use of cutting edge technology in his practice may well be the dental provider that you need.

I wanted to take a minute and let others know about Dr. Peter Cocolis in Springfield, VA. Dr. Cocolis is a top-notch physician with an outstanding team! I've seen Dr. Cocolis for about 6 months now regarding a range of services from preventative (cleanings, x-rays, etc.) to restorative (fillings, crowns). The office is high-tech, spotless, and efficient. From the first visit, Dr. Cocolis listened carefully to my concerns and my goals to restoring my smile. He uses a variety of diagnostic tools and is thorough in his assessment. He has a broad background of knowledge and experience in a range of dental procedures. Yesterday, he installed two crowns … no pain and feeling great today! Most importantly, though, Dr. Cocolis and his team ... Becky, Casey, Krystal, Annie, Olga, Alli, Parneeta, Skye and others ... genuinely care about patients and go out of their way to make each patient comfortable and prepared for the treatments. And for some treatments like tooth extractions and root canals, he refers you to his established network of partners to do the job. A sincere "thank you", Dr. Cocolis and the whole exceptional team, for providing trusted care, expertise, and compassion. I truly appreciate what you've done to restore my smile and confidence!

Once again, Dr. Cocolis and his staff provided outstanding dental care. His practice's hygienists are so careful and precise that I actually doze off in the chair. His practice is always on top of the best technology. They recently integrated AI analysis into their xray/imaging and used it to help find and fix a cavity hidden under one of my old fillings before it could get bad.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Cocolis today. I couldn't be happier with how it went. I had been neglecting my dental health for far too long, but was immediately put at ease with the positive vibes from all personnel I encountered. I didn't feel I was being judged for taking so long to seek dental professionals--instead, I left feeling that they are anxious and able to help me get back on track. As much as I hate the dental chair, I feel like if anyone can put me at ease, it would be Dr. Cocolis and his team. I'm SO glad I found them!

Staff and dental hygienist were super nice, and the D H said first every thing before she did it which takes care of apprehension you might have.. My experience at Peter K. Cocolis,Jr., DMD & Associates as a patient is absolutely one which I must share. The comfort and thorough care with which JULIE, the dental hygienist who always takes care of my teeth in conjunction with Dr. Cocolis is absolutely superb. Absolutely no fear or stress before or during the cleaning (On my behalf) which JULIE performs. Every part of the examination and cleaning is explained before, and during the procedure. This way, no surprises in any manner. Upon making an appointment with Dr. Cocolis, please know the entire staff will take 1st class care of you. From my experience with clean and healthy teeth,try to have JULIE ( Together with anyone else) be responsible for your teeth cleanliness.

Dr. Cocollis has been my dentist for over 4 years. I really like his attention and how helpful, attentive, and kind he is to his patients. He is always available to help us. Yesterday I went to his office because I had a lot of discomfort in my gums and teeth and he resolved it quickly. Today I am fine! He’s a great dentist 😀

Two fillings only for this visit to complete a previous procedure. It went quick and smooth; nothing needed to be numbed or any bite adjustment. I’m glad I followed Dr Cocolis’ recommendations based on my previous XRays. He has kept his eye on a shaded area within my gum under where my first root canal was done. I went to a specialist for a 3D xray and there were some concerns of bacteria where there should be bone by now. Long story short, there was some bacteria in the shaded area of my gum but it was contained and didn’t spread luckily. The specialist treated and eliminated the bacteria, then replaced my root canal along with a temp filling maintaining the same elite level of workmanship as before. Overall I had great experience. I never felt any pain before, during or after any of the procedures. I am happy and confident with Dr Cocolis taking care of my teeth. 😁

I started using Dr Cocolis about 6 months ago and wish I had started sooner. I’m no fan of dental work but this is actually a pleasant experience, and I’ve had some major work done (extractions, temp implants, root canals). The staff are all wonderfully personable and so is Dr C. More importantly they are all masters of their craft and explain everything very thoroughly. Dental insurance isn’t what it used to be but I still leave this office pleasantly surprised every time. More worth it than I can put into words, I am very thankful to have Dr C as my dentist.

I have been seeing Dr Cocolis and Julie for my dental care for 13 years. They provide high quality and high tech care and services. As a self employed person, I appreciate the dental membership plan option to budget my expenses. Julie is the best hygienist I have every had. I hear alot happening however feel no pain! Dr Cocolis has great chairside manner and laugh in addition to his dental skills and expertise. Office staff always very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!
