Dr Cocolis and his team have provided my dental care - and the dental care for my entire family - for 15 years. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have such high quality dental care delivered by such a friendly team of professionals. A dental implant was expected. After a friendly visit, the dentist’s examined the location and explained that the bone graft had been successful but was not the thickness he preferred for this implant. After a good discussion, I decided not to have the implant. Thank you for your professional treatment,

I had a sore in my mouth on New Year’s Eve that was raw and getting.more painful by the chew. I started calling dentists and leaving messages about my condition. Dr Cocolis’s office was the first to respond and booked me for a 8 am appointment on Monday. The Cocolis crew cleaned out the site in my mouth, placed anti-biotics in the sore and sent me on my way a happy man!

I have been seeing Dr. Cocolis for over 15 years. He has done a lot of dental work for me and I've never been disappointed. He excels in his profession, and is extremely skilled and knowledgable. His team is cut from the same cloth. They are a group of talented professionals, most congenial and very focused about their work. This work ethic creates a high morale work setting which is a positive thing in any business. At this practice you will find a dental team that is consistently dedicated to your dental care. I visited Dr. Cocolis office earlier this week for my 6-month teeth cleaning. No x-rays as they were done 6 months ago. As usual the staff were very polite and professional. My Hygenis was gentle and explained everything to me. I always look forward to the end of my appointment to chat with Dr. Cocolis. His bedside manners are the best I have experienced, and his entire operation is spot on.

I have been a patient of Dr Cocolis for a number of years and have always received top professional service. My latest appointment was for an onlay (a dental restoration for a tooth that had too much damage for a filling but didn't require a crown). As it is custom made many dentists would have to work with outside labs and require you to return in a couple of weeks for the work. Not Dr. C; he has the capacity to mill and create the onlay in his offices! With Ali's superb assistance I walked out of his office after 90 minutes with a restored tooth. Dr. C and his staff are all personable and super positive of their work, one tooth at a time. Thank you so much!

Dr. Cocolis and his team fitted the implant structure into my upper jaw, noted minor areas for functional improvement, and made the necessary measurements to clearly communicate their intent to the laboratory. While the changes seem minor, the resulting changes will significantly enhance the performance and comfort of the implant.

I had an amazing experience at Dr. Cocolis’s office! From start to finish, they were professional, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Cocolis took the time to explain every step of the process in detail, making sure I understood what was happening and why it was necessary. It's clear they genuinely care about their patients' comfort and well-being. The office staff was friendly and welcoming, and the office itself was clean and modern. I felt at ease the whole time, which is not always easy for me at the dentist! I really appreciated how the dentist explained all the options available to me, without rushing me into any decisions. I had a very informative and productive consultation regarding some upcoming dental work. Dr. Cocolis presented very thorough options that he explained in easily understandable terms. And the visual aids were very helpful in understanding what was needed. And Casey helped with understanding the financial options for the treatment. I was quite pleased with the presentation and as always the dental care is the absolute best.

When our son experienced a dental emergency on a holiday weekend and we were left without support from our prior provider, Dr. Cocolis stepped in and delivered truly exceptional care. He treated our son with incredible skill, professionalism, and genuine compassion during what was a very traumatic event for us. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made our child feel completely safe and respected. He even followed up several times via phone and with in office visits and then with a personal note, saying our son was an "amazing guy" for how well he handled the trauma—that level of kindness and compassion is extremely rare and so appreciated. If you are looking for a highly talented dentist who cares deeply about his patients and their well-being, and who is absolutely not pushy or sales-driven, we recommend Dr. Cocolis without any hesitation. Dr. Cocolis and his kind staff were very gracious to me. I came to get a second opinion on another dentist, whose office is quite a bit closer to my home for meeting my basic dental service needs. Dr. Cocolis demonstrated humility, respect and honor for the other dentist. He acknowledged the validity of her medical assessment, and conveyed no sense of competition as to which dentist I should work with, moving forward. When giving his own professional opinion, he offered a much more moderate opinion on what work needed to be done. He made it clear that I did not need to rush to get this work done. In this particular season of my life, it is truly important for me to wait on having any dental work done. Yet, I can comfortably do so through Dr. Cocolis’ professional advice – as he is the dentist that my dentist of almost 30 years (Dr. Marino) painstakingly searched for and found to be a replacement for him (due to retirement) for the continued care of his clients. As a result, I can trust Dr. Cocolis’ assessment & professional opinion, without a concern of compromising the integrity of previous years of dental expertise that had been needed in my particular situation 🙂 In other words, if you have a challenging oral need, his advanced training and use of cutting edge technology in his practice may well be the dental provider that you need.

I wanted to take a minute and let others know about Dr. Peter Cocolis in Springfield, VA. Dr. Cocolis is a top-notch physician with an outstanding team! I've seen Dr. Cocolis for about 6 months now regarding a range of services from preventative (cleanings, x-rays, etc.) to restorative (fillings, crowns). The office is high-tech, spotless, and efficient. From the first visit, Dr. Cocolis listened carefully to my concerns and my goals to restoring my smile. He uses a variety of diagnostic tools and is thorough in his assessment. He has a broad background of knowledge and experience in a range of dental procedures. Yesterday, he installed two crowns … no pain and feeling great today! Most importantly, though, Dr. Cocolis and his team ... Becky, Casey, Krystal, Annie, Olga, Alli, Parneeta, Skye and others ... genuinely care about patients and go out of their way to make each patient comfortable and prepared for the treatments. And for some treatments like tooth extractions and root canals, he refers you to his established network of partners to do the job. Once again, Dr. Cocolis and his staff provided outstanding dental care. His practice's hygienists are so careful and precise that I actually doze off in the chair. His practice is always on top of the best technology. They recently integrated AI analysis into their xray/imaging and used it to help find and fix a cavity hidden under one of my old fillings before it could get bad.
